BRIEF BIOGRAPHY

Katie is a British freelance writer who lives in Sweden with her soulmate/husband Mikael and their young son Jake. 

Her eclectic writing interests have taken her to the fields of fiction, non-fiction and poetry and she has been published in all areas. Her writing credits include both print and electronic media. She works as the Resources Editor for Women on Writing, and the Content Manager for Wake Up Writing  (daily writing exercise site), Deadlines and Diapers  (column for work-at-home-moms) and UK Dreaming (UK travel site). She also provides online content for Creative Writing Prompts and eWritersPlace. For articles, her main interests are family, travel and history.

She is currently working on a contemporary category romance novel, but her main passion is working on a novel set in the American Civil War period. 

Away from writing, Katie's main interests revolve around her family, both in Sweden and the UK. She also enjoys travel, cross-stitching, and dreaming about making a patchwork quilt!
