Deadlines and Diapers is designed to make visitors smile as they read the trials and tribulations of a WAHM trying to juggle active toddler, husband, housework and a fledgling career as a freelance writer.  Apart from the weekly column, Deadlines and Diapers is dedicated to bringing the best of what's available on the web that's of use to work-at-home-parents, be they moms or dads.  What you shouldn't find here are links to MLM or companies that require you to pay them money for information. 

As a WAHM, I know that every penny and every second counts.  Therefore I hope to build a library of links that will lead to genuine job opportunities, as well as ideas that may save you some precious minutes in your day.  If you have a tip that you would like to share with other work-at-home-parents, please email me at Katie@transed.nu and I'll be happy to place it on the site.

The cyber-world is full of sharks eager to take our money, but it's also a great place to network with people in a similar situation to yourself.  It is my hope that Deadlines and Diapers will evolve into a community resource that will make working at home a more achievable goal for many people contemplating it, and more fun for those already doing so.
